Offline counts still

In the modern digital era, offline tactics still have their place.

 

It’s easy to overlook some traditional marketing tactics. But considering the importance of all the senses in marketing (link to sensory POI), some traditional methods of attracting and keeping attention, such as with promotional products, still works in the digital age where only two senses are ever engaged.

For our Make Your Marketing Matter event, we carefully considered what “swag” guests would find useful at the event and after they left. While it’s an old standby, scratch pads continue to be valuable (and surprisingly scarce at my desk). Connecting the design to the event means people will remember what they learned when they use the pads. Read more on forbes.com
